Hello! Im putting together my papers for NZ application. Is there anyone on board who has undergone authentication of documents in Malacanang and DFA in Manila? If so, where do I start? I need to know where and whom to go in Malacanang so as not to waste time and money as I am from Negros.

Your help in providing me information will be much appreciated!

Blessings,

Jenny

hi there,

no need to go to malacanang. they already removed the malacanang step since april..go directly to the DFA in Roxas Blvd..then you can claim it after 2-3 days..then proceed to the NZ embassy in Buendia Makati,, but call them first for the sked of authentication , bec i think they will entertain you TTH only 9-1030 AM only.

hi wishin4NZ!

thank you so much for this information. are you already in NZ?

hi. do you know how much is the fee for every document that will be authenticated in NZ embassy? is there also a 2-3 days waiting time for the authentication?

last year it was around 1200 per document....i am not sure now...waiting time is only 1 hour... u can claim it the same day..but be sure to call the embassy first for the sked and time ...be there early...

Specializes in General Ward/ER.

From DFA, authentication of documents in the New Zealand Embassy is 1500 per document. they usually entertain only during wednesdays and fridays at 9:30 to 10:30am( till 11am if your papers are already forwarded to the person concern). be sure to be on time because the number of applicants per day is unpredictable....the given time is for strict compliance, the signatory leaves the embassy at the specified time... Goodluck!

thanks for the infos guys. its really helpful. i got another question....

do i still need the dfa to authenticate my passport certification also issued by dfa?

also, do i need to call the embassy for an appointment or can i just show up at the scheduled day & time?

no need, you can bring your passport certification to the NZ embassy at the given date and time of authentication. It is better to have all your documents authenticated at the same time to same money, time and effort. goodluck and God Bless.

Hi. Thanks again for the useful info. Just wanna make sure I'm doing my application requirements right.... i will be giving the following documents for authentication in NZ embasssy:

1. certified copy of passport

2. authenticated birth certificate

3. authenticated prc certificate

Am I missing anything else?

Also, would a local notary public be enough to notarize my application form?

Thankks & God Bless....
