Austin Community College

Hello all,

This is my first post (lurker) so hopefully it's in the right place :)

I am graduating from the University of Texas with a BA in psych this May. I am currently looking into getting a bsn/adn... now that my boyfriend and I are getting more serious, I really want to stay in Austin so I'm considering applying for the ACC adn program.

A few questions:

- how long does it take to get all the pre-reqs done? Can I get them done this summer?

- will acc consider my gpa from UT or will they only look at my nursing pre-reqs?

- anybody know the acceptance rate?

- were you able to find work in/around Austin after graduation?

My gpa from UT isn't stellar... I was planning on pre-law after undergrad, but went on a medical mission trip my junior year in college and it change my life and I decided that nursing was for me! :)
