Austin Community College ADN Spring 2021

Published

Hello friends,

I know it's extremely early for this, but I wanted to create a forum for the Spring 2021 applicants for ACC! We can keep in touch here if anyone has questions about the application process or just the program in general. Happy applying y'all! I'm excited to start my future career as a nurse!

Don’t think it’s happening this go around ?; congrats all

I think they go in Alpha order... I just got my email at 341p, "C" last name....

I don't think it's happening for me either. Congrats to everyone who got in!

Congrats to everyone that got in! I put in for EVC as my first choice.

For those that that didn’t get accepted- there’s still time! Some people will decline, some people may not pass skills, and some people might fail their drug tests. There will still be another round going out probably Friday or next week! We have until Thursday to decline if we got in.

If anyone gets letters can you please post about it. Checking email every minute.

I got mine about 30 minutes ago!!

Congratulations, baby birds and welcome to Team Teal! I'm Amanda and I'm your ADNSA Nursing Mentorship Chair - Elect! Once you start completing your acceptance packet, don't forget to sign up for the ADNSA. As the start of the semester gets closer, you'll have the chance to be paired with a "Big" for mentorship and guidance through the program.

For now, take a moment to celebrate and then get started on your CastleBranch stuff. There is an app called Adobe Scan that will come in very handy for turning your documents into PDFs for upload!

If you didn't get your acceptance letter yet, don't despair. Even if it doesn't come for this semester, it means that we might get past the worst of the pandemic before fall. Online nursing school is hard! Look into BSN prerequisites for Spring. Your goals aren't going anywhere and neither is ACC!

(Oh, and don't let threads about RRC scare you. The professors are awesome! Not too scary at all!)

Congratulations again and keep your chin up!

Warm regards,

Amanda Rose

Are they sending out acceptance letters? Or not? Is anyone still receiving there’s?

Wait where’s the thread about the nursing professors? ?

They sent them out today, but I'm assuming they stopped sending them out since it's past 5. There might be a second round of acceptance depending on people who defer, fail their drug test, etc. So, hang tight!

It's been discussed in past semester threads. There's a rumor that RRC is the hardest campus. I chose it because of proximity and don't seem to be having any harder of a time than my friends at other campuses.

Also, everyone who got accepted should post their score. It'll help all the others frantically trying to figure out where they stand.
