Hello friends,
I know it's extremely early for this, but I wanted to create a forum for the Spring 2021 applicants for ACC! We can keep in touch here if anyone has questions about the application process or just the program in general. Happy applying y'all! I'm excited to start my future career as a nurse!

I’d hope so too. But I got my rejection letter June 29th and this current application period started May 15th. Acceptances are the first thing they send out. They also do it in rounds so if someone defers or gives up their seat they can allow another person to get it

Yes I remember that. It took a month for acceptances to go out but I can’t imagine they’d be able to do that this time because that means we won’t know until December then the program start in January LOL. People need time to reapply, get drug tests done, and all that. Keeping my fingers crossed we hear something soon! ??
Not relevant to this discussion but I’m sitting at a 31.36 as a second applicant and already thinking about my third application as it’s not looking good.
Useful info for some considering other options - I’ve been talking with Concordia’s Accelerated BSN program and with my ACC prereqs along with a couple others like development psych they said its not too late to get in for the May 2021 start. It’s tempting but I like ACC’s program a lot more also Concordia is 16k+ a semester but I thought it’s an interesting option.
@rrotiz5 so I am a second applicant too and already preparing my application for 3rd round seeing as this is not looking good for me either.
so I also contacted Concordia and had a meeting with a representative in regards to transferring and to me the return in investment just isn’t there.
with acc it’s $10k for a bachelors and I can pay that out of pocket but I couldn’t justify 70k for a school that would require more schooling than ACC so more time in school and costs quadruple the price it’s just to worth it and on top of it I work with 3 nurses that graduated this past may from there and they HATED Concordia and felt it didn’t prepare them enough for nursing. But of course these are anecdotal so do what’s best for you but just my two cents.
I’ll be applying for the third round when the application period opens. I’d rather wait,
hope this helped any
