Austin Community College ADN Spring 2021

Hello friends,

I know it's extremely early for this, but I wanted to create a forum for the Spring 2021 applicants for ACC! We can keep in touch here if anyone has questions about the application process or just the program in general. Happy applying y'all! I'm excited to start my future career as a nurse!

I had 33 something last time and now I only have 34.72... I would have had 43 with my HESI ?

it’s frustrating my ranking barely moved a point

The application update page says a few days after ranks go out but it also says TBA so who knows honestly LOL.

Last application period I got my rank April 30th and I got my rejection letter June 29th. My friend that got in got her rank April 30th and her acceptance like the first or second week of June.

Do you know what her rank point  and what was the minimum rank point they accepted last semester??

They have to notify everyone earlier than a month out since Fall 2021 application opens on Monday....just my thoughts

I read back some on the thread and saw someone with like a 34 or 35 that did not get accepted

But that include HESI score too right?

True....I guess last application they DID have HESI added. I think that's why some applicants are upset because their points after review didn't move much or went down without HESI points this cycle.

The cutoff will be different this time because HESI points were not added.

True ... I am first time applicant and I have close to 32 . I am worried .....

Mine is only 29.4 probably no chance for this Spring. Glad I already retaking one more class so my GPA should be better for Fall 21

I had to go ahead and apply for my second application before acceptance letters were sent out bc I knew I wasn’t going to make it first round just heads up. So if application period opens it doesn’t hurt to go ahead and get it in ASAP especially since how many people  applied this go around
