Austin Community College ADN Spring 2020

Hi pre-nursing students!

So I know it's extremely early but I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread for Spring 2020 applicants. I'm a huge worry bug and have tons of questions and would love to give and receive advice throughout this process. I'm completing my last two prerequisites this spring and will be applying when the application opens on May 15th! Tell me about your journey and ask questions about mine!

Has anyone received petitions to register for classes? I just ordered my health science background check on castle branch yesterday so I’m not sure when that’ll be done

Hey guys!! I will be applying to the fall 2020 ADN program & I take my HESI on Monday. I figured since you guys have already been through the process you could answer my question! When your ranking is calculated they only use your scores from the AP section, math, & reading correct? You just have to pass vocabulary & grammar but the scores don’t go towards the rank?
Also any advice is appreciated!!!

Take the one you're worried about most first. You get your scores on each section immediately after you're done so you can relax a little bit.

Make sure to memorize household measurement conversions.

I just got my background check clearance and petition up register email! I'm at RRC.

Yup. And they assign instructors from there.
