Hi pre-nursing students!

So I know it's extremely early but I figured I'd go ahead and start a thread for Spring 2020 applicants. I'm a huge worry bug and have tons of questions and would love to give and receive advice throughout this process. I'm completing my last two prerequisites this spring and will be applying when the application opens on May 15th! Tell me about your journey and ask questions about mine!

@BunnyRose13 @shb6 mine didn't go to my school email it went to my personal email. Did y'all check your personal email for it?

FYI: your blue card is literally a blue postcard that looks like junk mail. I don't want anyone to throw it away on accident!

You got yours already? I did my fingerprints on September 5th and haven’t received anything.

I haven't gotten mine yet but some of my classmates have and that's how I found out what they looked like. Now I'm afraid I mistook mine as junk mail!

I am bunny’s classmate that already got their blue card.

Prints were done at 10am on September 9.

Card received in the mail yesterday, September 17.

For what it’s worth, I live near a post office and in the city proper. I tend to get things mailed from Austin to Austin in 2 business days.

Hi All,

The criminal back ground check notice is literally a blue postcard. Giving you the all clear. I took my prints the morning of Sept 6th, my blue card was postmarked on the 13th and got it the 14th. I included a picture of the front and back so you know what to look out for. Be patient, if you did your prints then you should receive it a week after your prints. Hi everyone I'm late to the party but I am a re-applicant and I am so confused about my blue card. I've emailed Cindy about it a few times but every set of instructions I received contradicts either the website or the last email. So my first application I did the blue card no problem and turned it in. This time I have not turned it in yet but I still have the old card. I didn't get the email to do new fingerprints and according to an email I thought I was just supposed to turn in the old card, but today I just randomly received a new blue card in the mail??? Have any other re-applicants talked to Cindy about this because I really don't want to have to email her again I know she is busy.

Also, I completed 1105 with an A last semester so if anyone has any questions let me know :)

Yeah I saw that-- I just think it's weird it says nothing about getting a new card in the mail.
