Austin Community College (ACC) Fall 2016 hopefuls

Published

I looked for a thread about the Fall 2016 admission hopefuls, but I didn't find one. I thought I would start one and hopefully find some other ACC students who have applied , so that we can network. This is my first application and I'm currently taking Nursing Skills. Just looking for fellow hopefuls out there.

I have applied for Fall 2016 also. I am kind of a unique case because I have already been in Level 1 (long story), so any questions you might have ask away!! Hopefully we will hear something back soon. Don't freak out if you don't get a letter first round. I got in on my first application at the very last minute. I think I was 165 out of 381 applicants and they let like 110 in the first round. Good luck with Skills. The next two years of your life are gonna revolve around check offs

Well I will be starting the Mobility track program at ACC this fall semester, and haven't seen any other post of other students that may be starting with me. I'm hoping for more feed back about the mobility program.

I got my acceptance letter last week for Traditional track. Don't know anything about Mobility, but I've been in level 1 for Traditional

Thanks for your response

I'll be starting mobility in Fall too. I heard from an ER nurse who was in mobility program before that it wasn't very great. I'd like to hear something positive. :)

I will starting the Mobility track with you next Month!

I'm in for the fall traditional track at the eastview campus. Just finished nursing skills this week. I'm excited but mostly really nervous. I've been working on this degree for such a long time. It doesn't feel real that I'm about to actually start the hardcore stuff! I've got a lot riding on this and I'm really afraid of failing, even though I know I can do it.

I definitely understand that feeling. I've heard mixed reviews so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm having to quit my job for this, so we will have one income so I understand the pressure

I am starting the traditional track at Round Rock this fall! I am bummed I haven't found more threads that are active for us. Oh well, couple more weeks!

Congrats everyone on being accepted! I am looking to apply next year, I have 2 more pre-reqs to do. Is there any one willing to share their application score? And does any one know someone who didn't get accepted and how many points their application had? I made a B in anatomy and micro, and just wanted to see how realistic it would be that I get in, even if I have to apply 3 times. the rest of my pre-reqs I have an A or anticipate receiving an A

I had a 34. I had Bs in a lot of my pre reqs, but I did well on my HESI.

If you have a choice between campuses, go to EVC. I did skills at RRC and am now at EVC for level 1. The difference between the instructors is night and day.
