Austin Community College (ACC) Admissions Fall 2014

Here we go, new thread for the people who weren't able to get in the Spring 2014.

Seems like every semester the number of people admitted to the course is dropping.

2013 Spring - Admitted 127

2013 Fall - Admitted 117

2014 Spring - Admitted 111

Couple of years ago they were admitting 160 students a semester, so this is a disturbing trend for us who are waiting to get in to the course.

Good luck Jennhome5696! Anyone have thoughts on which campus they will be requesting? I originally thought Hybrid but then after looking at the class calendars for Hybrid realized that labs are in Round Rock at 8:30am. Coming from Buda and trying to get 4 kids off to school that just won't work! Now I'm debating CEC or Eastview.

Thank you djldbed! Good luck to you too! Have you heard anything yet? If I get in I'll probably do East view. I have taken 3 classes there and I really like the campus.

I haven't heard anything. I was thinking they would wait until grades posted in the next couple weeks before sending out emails. On the ADN page, the side bar has a link to they levels. If you click on level one and then click on the campus its shows the class and on the class page it shows a calendar. It looks very busy!!

Good luck everyone. I am in hybrid currently, and we were told they are getting rid of hybrid in the fall for level 1 and any future admitted classes. I think there will be 2 RRC onsite groups for level 1 next semester, but we haven't been told anything "official" yet.

I wish they would update with an expected time frame of when the expect to send out letters.

FYI on the acceptance status page it said they would be sending out skills petitions after May 9th.

Several people in program told me to expect letters around late May/early June. Just keep checking...i guess...

Also, did anyone already receive their blue card/pass yet? I did my fingerprint background check a week or two ago and still have not heard back. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the pass?

I did get my blue card. I was surprised how quickly it came. It came about a week or a week and a half after I did mine.

They did post something today saying that they were starting to send out ranking emails in alphabetical order. Unfortunately, my last name starts with an "S". Has anyone got their ranking emails yet?
