Austin Community College (ACC) Admissions Fall 2014

Here we go, new thread for the people who weren't able to get in the Spring 2014.

Seems like every semester the number of people admitted to the course is dropping.

2013 Spring - Admitted 127

2013 Fall - Admitted 117

2014 Spring - Admitted 111

Couple of years ago they were admitting 160 students a semester, so this is a disturbing trend for us who are waiting to get in to the course.

Spring 2014? are you sure you didn't mean Spring '13?

Oops EE1025, I misred. If 62 points got accepted in the Spring, I am in big trouble. I wonder why I got a letter about a background check then. hm. guess we'll have to wait and see.

Just got the TBON email for the fast pass. Made my appt for fingerprints. Making sure I understood Tammie's email correctly....I don't need a DO unless I answered yes to the 5 affadavit of eligibility questions? "Beginning the fall semester it is mandatory for all students entering the program to have either the blue card or a clearance letter. The clearance letter is for students who have submitted a DO." Pretty sure I don't need a clearance letter but what is a blue card??

I got the same Email. I haven't been able to check out what I need to do yet. I'll let you know once I go through the entire process.

Hello all!

Has anyone received an official acceptance letter for the class? I saw something about it on the email that Tammy sent out. When I was not accepted for the spring class I asked her how many points it took to get accepted for the spring class and she said it was around 56. I have calculated my points for this application and it's 61.47 so I am HOPING. But it's pretty close so we will see. Fingers crossed. Good luck to all applying. I'm anxious and hopefully we hear somethign soon!
