Aurora University Applicants 2014

U.S.A. Illinois

Published

Hey, I'm officially waiting on the acceptance to the nursing school of AU. I got my TEAS V score today and its a 72. Not too happy with it, but honestly I only studied the science portion and for a week. So I guess it's not too shabby. I have a GPA of 3.5.

Hopefully I've caught the eyes of other AU applicants out here. Feel free to share your scores and hopefully we get in!

Thank you so much for sharing! Congrats on your last semester of nursing school! My sister also went to AU for nursing, and she is doing amazing, to say the least. Hopefully we all will get into this program or any other ones we have applied to...

Thank you! & Best of luck to you :) AUSON is a fantastic program.

Ok so it's been confirmed, I told my admission rep that I got a 62% on my Teas exam & she stated that you need a 64% to get into AU PROGRAM , Aahhhh so close :/ ....anyhow best of luck to you all!:)

Don't give up! Before retaking it, maybe try a TEAS V study guide/practice book if you haven't already. I used a McGraw-Hill practice test book and it helped a TON. I would take about an hour out of my day every day to answer some of the practice questions and read through the rationales. Maybe try focusing more on the areas of the exam that you had trouble with.

Have faith and good luck to you!

Definately try retaking the teas, and like she said^ get the teas practice manual and the two practice tests, they help out so much! btw apply apply apply everywhere better chance of making it in :)

does anyone know how long the program takes if you are transferring in? is it a 2 year program?

Im pretty sure it is a 2 year program :-)

i have one question...do you meed an associate in science to be able to be in the nursing program or do you just need 60-64 cred hours?

An associate degree in science is not needed. As long as you meet the gpa requirement and complete the prerequisites by the start of the program, you are good to go :-)

Hi all,

Anyone know when admission letters are being mailed out?

Dude they are being mailed out between March 15 to like March 20 something! in fifteen more days! im already getting twitchy and stuff hahaha

Haha, I am getting anxious too. Hopefully they come out sooner in March than later.

Hi! I'm glad someone started a discussion for this! I'm really anxious about finding out whether I am accepted or not. A couple of weeks ago, someone from nursing admissions called me to ask a couple of questions. Did anyone else get a call?
