Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

Is the supplemental application the NursingCas application or the undergrad application? It says my status isn't complete because of my supplemental application, but I got accepted into the school in November and did NursingCas in December. SO CONFUSING

The supplemental application is neither of those. You have to complete a supplemental application because you are a transfer. It can be found on their website. You didn't have to apply to the school prior to applying to the program, they just use the supplemental application instead!

When I try looking for the supplemental application, it just directs me to apply to the school. :(

I applied as a transfer student...so thats why I am confused.

Hi,

I just received this e-mail from Augusta the other day. After you submit the NUrsing CAS within 24 hours or 1 work day, they will send a link for the supplemental application:

Fall 2018 deadline is Jan. 16, 2018 for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program using NursingCAS.

Please be aware that we will stop receiving applications/fees through NursingCAS for at 11:59 PM on that date.

However for this application cycle, Augusta University will continue to accept college transcripts and references through NURSINGCAS AND

TEAS score reports and transfer student supplemental applications submitted to Augusta University until Jan. 31, 2018.

Please Note:

1.ZeeMee.com recording length is changed to 25 seconds. We have received reports from applicants that the ZeeMee recordings are cutting off before 30 seconds. Please be prepared to stop at 25 seconds to avoid issues.

2. Close to the Application deadline more students wish to pay for the transcript to be sent electronically rather than US mail.

NURSINGCAS will receive electronically submitted transcripts only if your college uses PARCHMENT or CREDENTIAL SOLUTIONS. See your college Registrar website and NURSINGCAS directions for more information: Transcript Processing | NursingCAS

Other BSN application requirements:

Evaluations/references returned to NursingCAS and updated to CAS application

All college transcripts are received by NursingCAS either by US Mail or electronically.

TEAS scores from Augusta University Testing Center or TEAS transcripts sent from ATI Testing for other Testing locations

In addition to the application essay requirement, all BSN applicants will need to post a 25 second video statement reflecting on their commitment to the nursing profession Post this on the Nursing CAS application through ZEEMEE. Introducing ZeeMee: In an effort to get-to-know our applicants, we have partnered with ZeeMee, a free service that helps students bring their application to life. As part of a holistic review, we are committed to learning about the person behind the application.

Sign up at ZeeMee.com. It's now a mobile phone "App".

Transfer students:

After submitting your NURSCAS application for Augusta University then, the next business day you will receive an email with a link to the Augusta University Nursing supplemental application. (This is the application for the admission to the University.)

I received my acceptance letter to the Athens campus today! So excited to meet everyone! Do y'all know if there is a facebook page or something created for accepted students?

I wish there were some form of chat board because I need to sign a lease for next fall/find some roommates and it would be great if it were other people from our cohort!
