Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Published

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

I wanna call and ask but I don't think they're open lol

Call and see! If no one answers, I'll try to call í ½í¸‚

Hey I actually figured it out!! So on the Applicant Status Check page after you enter in all your information it shows you your status for Spring semester. There's a button on the top right of the page that ays, "Return to Applications List". Click that and there should be two applications one for Spring 2018 and then the other is for the BSN Program :) mine says incomplete

Yeah mine doesn't say that lol

Keep me updated y'all! I really want to have a group to talk about the whole prepartion process with because there's apparently so much that you have to do to be prepared to start in the fall and I really want to know a couple of people going into the program!

I had my application sorted out and complete by mid-November and mine still says "Ready for Review".. I've had a lot of issues with making sure that everything was correct on Augusta's end so I'm praying that everything is sorted out because I am dying to get an answer! Also, I though the admissions were rolling so I would think that the first people to apply would hear first... but it doesn't seem to be that way.

Good luck! I definitely think they look at the ones who have applied first and take a percentage of those to accept each time... so if you applied earlier they look at it earlier, but only accept a few at a time so obviously everyone who applied earlier won't get in earlier. I know many people who applied early and haven't heard back. I applied the first week of September and heard back November 17th, so I definitely think applying early helped me out. They don't deny or waitlist anyone until after January, so alot of people don't hear back until February even if they applied in September!

How long did you guys wait after you've been verified on NursingCas for you letter in the mail? I'm so impatient!! I just wanna know :(

NursingCAS doesn't really tell you anything...it says verified but it depends on how many applicants they have before they get to it. It took two months for me because they didn't start accepting until November. I applied in September! You said that your Applicant status changed though right? When mine changed, I waited four days and my letter was in the mail.

What number do you call to see what your status is? Just the admission office or the school of nursing :) I called the health science building but no one picked up

Probably admissions...but it should tell you on your Applicant status check. If it says Decision Made, then your letter should be coming in the mail soon (either accepted, denied, or waitlisted). Unless you applied to the school before the program, which may make it say decision made when it's actually not the program just the school.

If you go on application status check it tells you. You just have to view the Nursing School Application instead of the separate one for Augusta there's a button where you can switch them
