Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

Yeah that's what happened. I applied before I applied to the nursing program, that's why my application status says decision made

Just spoke to Augusta Admissions. I saw that my status is incomplete because apparently I didn't turn in my supplemental application. I panicked a little but they said that they are really behind on things, and that they're still looking at spring applicants. They're going to look at the fall applicants really soon!Just wanted to let yall know :) Good luck yall!

I'm wondering the same thing!!! I feel like it's so weird that I heard early November and now no one is hearing like anything lol. I guess they just do it in waves...I only know of about four people that have gotten in so far! Do y'all know anyone?

Oh I just saw your second post! Yeah, I think they started and then got behind because of all the applicants!

I just checked my Augusta status and it finally says "Decision Made"!! I am praying for good news!!

I got all of my stuff in by mid-November.. I can't remember the exact date but I want to say November 11th? But it took them forever to change the status to "Ready for Review". I actually had to call because my supplemental application was for the wrong start term so I had to correct that before the status finally updated.

Oh thank god lol my status still hasn't changed but I did the supplemental application for fall 2017 and I applied to the program for fall 2017. So much stress I just wanna know already! Let me know if you got accepted! good luck!

Hi All, I just submitted my application on the NursingCAS for Fall 2018 Cohort. I am attending Georgia College now in pre-nursing. I have also applied there. My Overall GPA is 3.98 and my TEAS was 93. I had sent the electronic transcript for TEAS right after Christmas. So far, the Status Check doesn't show that it arrived. Any input regarding the amount of time it takes when you took the TEAS at another location other than Augusta? I still have to fill out the supplemental application with Augusta. This seems so cumbersome. With Georgia College and Kennesaw, you just submit a simple application. Love to hear from others.

Your TEAS shouldn't take too much longer. I recall mine taking about a week. If it still doesn't show up on the status page after you've submitted the supplemental, give them a call. Good luck!
