Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

I got a 79 :( I'm retaking it the 15th, I'm hoping for at least an 84 or an 85 the next go round!!

That's still not too bad for the first go round! At least you'll be able to apply with that score and then update it when you take it next. Good luck!!

Thank you!!! And no, not that I've heard! This may be a dumb question and I plan on calling the office of admissions tomorrow cause I have a few other questions so it's totally fine if you don't know, but do you know if nursing students use the student portal (Pounce, I think it's called?) and Augusta email and all that kind of stuff?

They do! You definitely need to go through the Student checklist and establish all of your accounts. The links in the emails don't always work the best or take you to the exact page, but you need to set up your email and get access to pounce in order to register next year.

Thank you, that's super helpful! Another question, how did you access your AU email? Was it listed on your applicant status check page? AU had my SSN wrong for a little while and finally just fixed it but I'm worried that that has messed up my access to my email and all that so I'm definitely going to call in the morning.

My email was my first letter and my last name and I set up the password like it told me to with the ssn/birthday stuff. I had to call IT help and get her to walk me through a few steps of the process and stuff. I'm sure whoever you call will be glad to do that. Have you payed the deposit?

I was notified by mail but saw my application status on the Augusta Applicant Status Check change to "Decision Made" a few days before I got the letter. They don't specify whether you are accepted/denied/waitlisted on the status check page, only by mail!

For some reason when I go to the Applicant Status Check it says "You do not have any applications that can be viewed here." Did that happen to you at all?
