Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Published

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

lol maybe they just don't like me! How exciting though, my fingers are crossed for you!

yeah I was checking like I did before everyday, every 10 minutes lol. I literally check every 10 minutes, ever since its changed to ready to review. Its wild. I'm in awe. I hope I got in, it's be a blessing

I just wanna understand the method to their madness...I feel like they all sit at a table and pick random names out of a hat and that's how they decide who's application status to change haha the suspense is killing me!!!!

I hope you get in!!! Maybe ours will change tomorrow! I guess at this rate I'll be checking every ten minutes as well hahah

Whoever got accepted, did you application page say under "have not received yet" - background consent form?

I don't remember if mine did, but I would assume so. Do you have a student ID?

yeah I had one since I applied, I used it to apply to scholarships. And I have the email lol

Oh yeah, you applied to the school first. I bet you either got in or are at least waitlisted if they want the background consent!

I really don't wanna be waitlisted :( I need to get in!!!!!! Lol

I mean I'm not like 100% sure but I'm pretty sure they don't start waitlisting/denying people until the beginning of April. It's still the beginning of March so I think you're good!

I heard something similar to that, jansenrenee22. I also heard that if you do get waitlisted, you have an enormous chance of getting in. A lot of people apply and choose to go elsewhere, don't finish pre-requisites, or just aren't ready to start like they thought they were. I have a friend that goes to the Augusta campus and she said that a lot of her friends were waitlisted but they eventually got accepted. She said that those that got waitlisted had pretty low GPA's, too, so I definitely think you got in!
