I don't see a group yet started for admission to the Fall 2018's Augusta U MSN/CNL program. I have read through the forum of the Fall 2017 group and it seems to have been very informative!
I am excited once this group starts getting some members, so we can discuss the process (and adventure?!) of applying and finishing pre-reqs!
I am a second career applicant who works full time as an office assistant to two MDs and 1 BSN now. I have previously been a CNA and worked as a PCT in a small rural hospital on the med/surg floor, but then went on to get a BA in English from UGA. After having been an assistant for 4 years and out of school for quite a few more, I am excited about starting this RN program and still question why I didn't do this from the beginning :-) Oh well, I feel I have a lot of real world experience now and I am a much better learner then before! I have four pre-reqs left. A&P 1 and 2, Microbiology, and Human Development. I am planning on trying to CLEP the Human Development course this fall. Currently in the waiting process for acceptance into the Perimeter Campus of Georgia State University to start the other courses.
Looks like there is a CNL program leadership meeting on 10/12, so maybe they will be reviewing applications to start offering interviews! We can hope, right!
Could you please specify the deficiency about your transcript entry if convenient? I submitted my application last Wednesday, Oct 4th. And my transcript still shows "verifying". i am getting concerned.

Hello, they kept sending me an email stating that my transcripts was undelivered because of different reason but basically you need to fill out exactly the way it is on your official transcripts the course code, course name etc so it matches their sample. If you call them they would not be able to specify what is going on. I eventually had to talk to the supervisors after correcting it several times and it looked ok only to just keep getting the email but they eventually got it verified because I had to send an email to Emily too. Just make sure you fill it in properly and call to confirm and follow up on it. They usually send emails if there is a problem. Hope these helps. All the best!!
Hey guys, very close to submitting my application and was just wondering if anyone knows if they expect you to fill out the essay for grade explanation? I saw that it said optional, but didn't know if it was best to leave it blank if you really do not have any actual reason to or if you should still write something?
Jasmine- I had my transcripts returned to me after submission also. I got an email saying they couldn't be verified. I'd forgotten to include a class I withdrew from. Your transcript entry needs to look exactly like your transcript... so as long as all of your class names and everything are accurate, you should be good. Once they actually get to your file for verification, you should hear pretty quickly... they prob just haven't gotten to you yet. If anything is wrong, they'll let you know! Oh and I immediately fixed my application and resubmitted and it was verified within a day. Good luck!
