I don't see a group yet started for admission to the Fall 2018's Augusta U MSN/CNL program. I have read through the forum of the Fall 2017 group and it seems to have been very informative!
I am excited once this group starts getting some members, so we can discuss the process (and adventure?!) of applying and finishing pre-reqs!
I am a second career applicant who works full time as an office assistant to two MDs and 1 BSN now. I have previously been a CNA and worked as a PCT in a small rural hospital on the med/surg floor, but then went on to get a BA in English from UGA. After having been an assistant for 4 years and out of school for quite a few more, I am excited about starting this RN program and still question why I didn't do this from the beginning :-) Oh well, I feel I have a lot of real world experience now and I am a much better learner then before! I have four pre-reqs left. A&P 1 and 2, Microbiology, and Human Development. I am planning on trying to CLEP the Human Development course this fall. Currently in the waiting process for acceptance into the Perimeter Campus of Georgia State University to start the other courses.
Looking forward to talking with all of you!
Mine only took literally about 3-4 days to be verified and I submitted it on the weekend.
I actually just got an email that I did not fill in the transcripts right but this was after 3 weeks but they said they would still put me in the same line for the
Verification. I actually had to keep calling for them to allow me edit it. I applied since the 7th of September and am still waiting. Will refill the transcripts and see how long it will take to get the GPA. Hopefully fast enough! I guess it may have also being because you applied before that must added to it. All the best!!

Also did your GPA come out to be what you expected?

Oh wow that is really crazy. I submitted my application yesterday 9/25 and mine is already being verified. So, I'm not sure what is going on. Yes, my GPA came out be exactly what I expected but they do not round. So, if it is 3.456 it is a 3.45. I will keep yo updated once mine has finished being verified. Sorry it has been taking that long. Turnaround time on their website is two weeks.
Just to encourage anyone out there that may have struggled as I did a few weeks ago. I recently commented of my struggles of passing the GRE exam. I have always been a terrible test taker ..well standardized test taker. I attempted the GRE twice and received a 289 on each one. Before getting totally discouraged, I attempted the MAT test. Knowing it would be difficult, I purchased the barron's pdf mat prep book, purchased all three pearson test available on the MAT official website, and downloaded/purchased pocketprep MAT prep app. But most importantly, I PRAYED diligently. I believe I studied for a total of two weeks and took the exam today. Needless to say, I scored a 410 on the MAT exam. I am super excited to proceed with my application and hope to encourage others to not give up!
