August Nclex Repeat testers, please share your feelings

Im re taking my exam this month, and I am getting really anxious. I just want to know who else is repeating the NCLEX? Maybe we can vent our feelings together. I have been praying every single day and am asking God to help me pass and the rest of us. We have finished nursing school, and we will definitely pass the NCLEX and become NURSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am starting to get panic attacks and intense fear... I know I need to think positive and stay positive, but its hard...

I am retaking my exam this month as well, but i still have not set the exact date as yet. I used Kaplan once and that just did not help me at all. I did the NCSBN review online and that i love. I really enjoyed doing the questions and the content seemed so much more straight forward, that it has motivated me in such a way that i have never been motivated before for this exam. I know that i am going to pass when i take it and i wish us all the best of luck with our upcoming exam.

same here!!! do u think ur ready? how many days later are u testing? and what did u do to prepare? now that u are at the end of the tunnel..

uhm well i did as many questions as i can. also i read and just focused on saunders compre book. woo im taking my exam tomorrow and i know tomorrow is going to be a good day. Good luck and God bless you all:wink2:

Good luck and think positive....a lot of the reasons people fail NCLEX is not because of difficulty of the test....it has a lot to do with test anxiety. Just relax, u know this information, U GOT THIS!!!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah:

hey guys!!!!!! i just came back from taking my nclex... i got 75 questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im sooooo happy!!!!!! i KNOW i passed!! im getting the pop up which says "our records indicate that you have recently taken this exam ect ect" .. last time when i took the exam exactly 49 days ago.. i got all the way to the CC page.. and i only had 76 questions!! this time i got 75 questions..and they were REAL HARD and a lot priotization type questions!! im so happpppppyyyy , i can not even express my happiness in words!! To God be the glory!! :yeah::yeah::bow::hpygrp::dancgrp:

How many SATA questions did you have? Did you ave infection control questions? I'm taking mine next week,may 2nd time. OMG,I'm nervous!

thanks .. Im just getting soooooo excited.. hope this trick works!! Because I am trusting it a 100% , so to answer your question.. i got about 10 or so SATA.. i only got two infection control this time around (my first time 1/3 of my exam was infection control) i heard that the comp saves the profile of what questions u took the first time , and it doesnt give u the same questions.. therefore; i was getting totally different subjects.. i didnt get any straight forward infection control.i dont even know if i should call the two questions i got infection control or not..but study infection control.. i would know it forwards and backwords.. even if its only for two questions.. it makes them easy for u to answer... . everyone seems to be getting endocrine.. well i was loaded with endocrine the first time.. this time i didnt get any endocrine questions.. see the nclex makers are smart, they know that we will study what we got.. so they dont focus on that, they ask u questions from totally different subjects.. i got a lot of meds.. about 10-12 med questions, and 1 math question.. i had three drag and drop .. and so many priority questions.. once i officially get the word that i passed, i will start a new thread and post exactly what i did , and how i studied...so u can see what i was doing.. i will help anyone , and i mean ANYONE that needs help with passing this exam.. im even willing to talk on the phone if anyone wants to talk to me.. i know what it feels to fail.. and i DONT want anyone to fail this exam.. You surely passed! I can feel it. Seems you did well this time. I am afraid of SATA and pharm. The first time i took nclex i had 10 SATA. I am more afraid of meds.. I'm still weak in that area. I am still getting 57-65%. I don't know if strategies work with pharm questions. I'm testing next week. I pray whatever questions show up, the Lord will guide me to choose the right answer.

Thanks for sharing your recent nclex expirience. I pray we pass this time. So no more retakes. May the good Lord grant our wishes..

this will be my 3rd time retaking the exam. it will be on aug. 31. i have been doing 100 questions per day from saunders cd since july and will be finishing on aug 30. good luck to you all, we will make it. that is a promise.

Thank you so much ujones and Rnindmaking , nrcolee, and everyone else on this site!!!! I officially found out today that I indeed passed. I just saw my quick results.
