Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Stel1: We need 3 copies of all our documents which include the physical, drug and background, and all certificates/CPR card. (1 set for subsmission, 1 set for our portfolios that'll be checked at clinical to make sure they are up to date, and 1 set for our records)

Ok, each set has to be in a particular order as followed:

-Physical exam documents

-Certificates each in this order (CPR, Prevention of Med err, Domestic viol, TB/OSHA, HIV, HCP)

-Background & Drug Screen in this order (certificate for online background check, fingerprinting screen, then drug screening)

Just making a correction in the order of certificates since I now know we need that new CEU:

(CPR, Prevention of Med err, Domestic viol, TB/OSHA, Laws and Rules, HIV, then HCP)

tatie44 try going on to register for that ceu again it's not too late. Make sure it says summer term and it says any campus because it's an online class.

I called continuing education and Ms.DeCurzio registered for me. I just finished paying. Thank you though

I cannot register for that class (CAE0644.) After I update my schedule, it says it's too late to register. Am I missing something?

I went through the same thing. You have to call miss DeCurzio at 954-201-6768 and tell her that it said you're too late. She'll register you, while you're on the phone. But you have to pay today. If she doesnt answer her phone, leave a message with your phone number and she'll call you right away.

Anyone completed the Florida Law and Rules CEU yet? Where and how do we do the test? I am on Chp. 34 out of 68 in Unit 1. It is so much to read through but it is a lot of information we need to know as future nurses. Please let me know where you did the test if you have already.

Wow!! I see at Central, they have only one pharmacology class and it's once a week.. Does it mean that if 200 students will go to central, they will all end up in that one class...?

There's no way for 200 people to go to central only 90 seats per campus

Yes everyone is in the same class on each campus.
