Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
Hammond: I see what you're saying. I was able to add the 2 main textbooks for free. I'm just hoping I don't have to spend $154, it was for Nclex and case studies..
Diva fresco: thanks for the advice. I have a question. When they test, is it nclex type questions with scenarios or is it on the chapters, lecture, and notes or both? Thanks
I went to north for the modules and student handbook as stated in the d2l info and book list and north doesn't have it and they didn't know when they would get it, but stated we don't need it for the first day and if by Monday they still don't have it...the instructor would know why we don't have it.
Who are north students again? I think stel and olkan? We're gonna need the mental support come Monday!

Depends on your campus. Central campus exams most of the time were NOT nclex style and WERE very unrealistic. South as well at times. It's still possible to pass them, but what I tell myself "C"="continue" :)

Just wanted to pass by and wish you guys a great semester! I am starting GIGU this semester and the best advice I could give you is to READ READ READ. There is no other way around it guys! & pay attention to the charts in your Perry & Potter because some Professors like to use info from there for tests! Please take it very seriously from beginning to the end of your semester, eat, breathe, and live nursing school lol! & make friends and study groups because they will be your support (: Let me know if you have any questions I'll be more than happy to answer them before we all start on Monday. (I am at central campus btw). Good luck y'all!
