Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Men those books are expensive!!!! They don't have any penlight at the bookstore.

We need our own scissors too?

Bandage scissors and once you get to GI/GU hemostats, but for now mainly just books

Anyone here started the program this summer at North? I would like to obtain a copy of the syllabus for process I so I can get a couple chapters out of the way..

Same here. I found a reading list but seems out of order. I have started reading the critical thinking chapter just to familiarize myself with the format of the questions. And now starting the physical and nursing assessments. can anyone give us a list that goes in sequence order of what we will be reading?

you might try posting this in the may 2014 broward thread, they would have that info more readily available

Yes you do, honestly though, I haven't used it since GI/GU. I can't even find it. Lol
