Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
I will PM you my number. Lets text.
No there is no writing. Just some highlighted pages like I mention before. No problem :). Just let me know how you would like to proceed to get the book. Wednesday I'm in clinical from 7A-7Pm so can't do it that day. But any other day I will be on campus. I attend South by the way.
Dont put too much weight on the opinions on ratemyprof Im sure once we study hard we will be just fine in her class. I read some good reviews on there too.
Just looked up our Nursing ProcessII professor for Central on ratemyprof and OMG, it is BAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. I swear im not over exaggerating. I thought I was scared before, but now I feel a sense of dread and loathing. Wish I never looked it up :-(
UGH deferring just feels like I'm starting all over again
Even though I'll already have a seat for January this wait is KILLING me!!!!! I'm ready to hear the date for Pre-Admission orientation so we can get that over with (once again..), I'm ready to pick my classes (once again..) lol ughhh this wait is going to be dreadful.
I'm also thinking about going to Central instead of North.. When you guys start next month I'd like to hear your personal opinions on North and Central campus please!

Oh trust me i will DEF be posting about the experience. I just wish it were the 25th already!!!
I'm feeling a little defeated. I went to turn in my paperwork this morning, but my doctor wrote on my physical form that I had physical limitations because I have multiple sclerosis. The Dean said that legally, she can't let anyone into the program with physical limitations. I shot over to my doctor's office to have him fill out the paperwork again and put that I didn't have any limitations so that I'd be allowed in. I turned in the new forms a few minutes ago and I'm so scared that she'll still say no if she recognizes my name. Technically, the new forms say I'm fine even though I'm not. Hopefully that won't be a problem otherwise I'll have to defer my seat until January. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I think at North we will have the same teacher for both process I and II. I am not sure because our teachers are still showing up as TBA. I thought it would be the same at Central.
