Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

They will contact u

Sorry Im so late on this.....just sent you the email.

@nursejosie21 could you send me that email too i didn't receive one about the homework ... [email protected] thanks

FYI Though we may have started the series of Hep B vaccines, we still have to sign the Hep B waiver on the health form. Keep updating nursing department once you've taken them and they will update their files. Basically, we are not yet fully immune so we have to sign the waiver regardless. I just called because I received an email asking me to come in to sign the waiver. Pay attention to that part of the health form.

I apologize but I am unable to send private messages. Which is why I am replying here. To answer your question $50 for pharm book. I highlighted some pages if that's what you meant.

I am going to doctor365 tomorrow to do the titters and the physical. While on plantation, I'll try to get the background and drug screening done.. Can someone here please tell me a few things I should know, as far as receipts, forms to bring and so on...?

The pharmacology for nurses A pathophysiologic approach 4th edition doesn't come with CD. Please go to the bookstore and check first so you don't waste your time. If you are referring to the Davis drug guide yes that one does come with a CD.

ok I'm not sure if it's like this for every campus but for South, I noticed that we have our first math test the first week of school *yikessss* someone please tell me I'm reading this wrong!!!

No math test the first week... You have math tests every class in the first week after process 1.

You have a math test in math class when that class finishes. You get 2 chances to pass with 90% if you don't pass you have to retake that class.

Just make sure you keep everything they give you and make copies. For the urine tests make sure you keep the skinny slip of paper and make copies and online background you should print the confirmation page. I turned my stuff in today and they said if anything else needs to be updated they will email you at your school email address.
