Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
its already on the physical form. the page with all the immunization on them, just take it to drs 365 or where ever and tell them you need the inoculations not the Titers. Then when u get your results they should fill out the correct section showing when you got the shots with a copy of the labs
If you go to South you must have the titers. Not sure about the other schools. I think measles, rubella, varicella, hep. B ...depending how those come out depends if you get the vaccine again.

Thats how it is at Central too. I just suggested the immunizations to be safe in case her country's shots are different from ours. But now that I think about it she should be able to go to the health department and get records if she went to public school here. I hope it works out in the end. This process is kind of a headache..
Scrubs with all white shoes and student ID with BLS card in double sided ID tag for clinicals. Polo with BC Asn nursing logo and blue jeans with comfortable closed up shoes for theory.
Questions to the students who attended Central's orientation. What did they say about the dress code? Do you guys have to be in scrubs everyday?
