Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

ok, that's awesome. I'm just going to wait til Wednesday, see what they have to say then do my ceu's and background test and physical.

Serendipity27 I thought registration was from 7/7/14-7/14/14 at 4pm.Unless they told you that you can register later. If not, tomorrow the 14th at 4pm is the deadline

Are you in the LPN program?

For those going to the south campus for orientation on July 16 at 9am. Have you guys done your ceu's or will u just wait til after the preadmissions orientation. what have u guys done or bought thus far, if anything.? I am so excited about Wednesday. :)

Is your Orientation that day because you are doing the LPN transition?

Is there anything we need to bring with us to South Campus orientation on Wednesday?

Has anyone seen the drug screen charges reflected on their mybc account yet? How much will the drug screen cost?

Littleukno, don't feel too bad I'm in the same boat. I registered late and was stuck with south campus. I live north and much closer to north campus but I'm going to sacrifice and make the very best of the program. Where do you live?

you guys should'nt feel bad I live in Miami Dade lol

Yes they have those courses. I completed all of them on their website. I recently realized the OSHA is only 1 hour instead of 2 hours. They have Hepatitis C instead of Hepatitis. I don't want to run into any trouble with my certificates, so I'll retake them at Broward College.[/quote']

the dean said they were all fine you just have to take the infection control one to make-up that missing hour youre fine!

Oh, I did not know that! My acceptance letter did not mention any of that information.

I just went on to see if I could register now but when I put in the course ID's for the first semester South does not come up at all... Only North and Central do.

Not that I am aware of. I only got one letter from them and this is all it said:
