Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Just received South Campus Orientation packet. We have the great option to print it out.

Hahahaha

Lol ours (North campus) is 32 pages but we have to bring 2 copies to orientation 64 pages :banghead:!

Did anyone else from North campus notice in the email it says our documents are due by August 15, 2015 and not 2014... It was a mistake right? lol

Nursejasckie trust me if you are going to central they are way longer then that. For instance on the second test is critical thinking and the nursing process and you will think ok I only have to read the critically thinking process but no its the whole section which includes in your book chapters: critical thinking, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. So you look at the syllabus and think ok that is only one chapter but its all of those chapters. if anyone has any questions about central campus I can answer all of them. I started in May so I am fresh out of process 1. I am not trying by any means to overwhelm you guys just trying to help you guys be more prepared and to not be shocked.

ok that clears that up a bit lol. im sure ill have lots of questions now

Is the program doable if you're pregnant? And, do you guys know their policy about that?

Has anyone got the central orientation packet?

I'm not sure what's going on but I have not received any emails from anyone only the central email (the one with the registration codes etc.)
