dianne,

over at www.rv.net they have a forum titled campgrounds, resorts and attractions where you can ask a much larger audience about facilities any where. i've just started traveling this year and they've helped me a few times.

hope this helps,

I,m intrestested that you travel and RV. What type of nursing do you do and how do you receive you assignments. What agency do you work for and how long are your assignments?

Hello,

I worked at Morehead City, NC in the ER and we stayed at Holiday Trav-L-Park in Emerald Isle. A wonderful park on the Atlantic Ocean. We felt very secure and was very clean. I think the Trailer Life ratings were 9-9-9. We would have given them all 10's. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definetly stay here again, but would ask for more housing stipen, because from May through the summer prices almost doubled.

What assignments have you been on and where have you stayed?

Thanks,

Cris

I have found that rvparkreviews.com is very helpful in selecting a campground. I am currently in Cottonwood, AZ and am very happy with the campground we are staying at. I chose it based on the reviews posted about it.

I'm planning on traveling this August and considered an rv because I'm taking my child. I've been asking around and one nurse I work with mentioned the atmosphere at rv parks not being conducive for children due to fulltimers (said they were old gritty Vietnam vet types and loners) how true is this in your experience?
