I'm an LVN grad currently living in CA, but planning on moving to AZ after I get married. My problem is that I'm torn as to whether I should get my RN in CA or AZ. Which is a better deal?
My RN prereqs will be finished this semester, and then I'll apply to an LVN-RN program here in CA. But wait lists are so long, I probably won't enter a program till late 2007 or even 2008. I heard there are rarely wait lists in AZ community colleges, so I can start the nursing program sooner. But then I'd have to wait a year to get AZ residency for cheaper tuition rates.
Also, I'm worried about the transferability of my license. What if I get my RN license in AZ, and decide to move back to CA, or vice versa? Would that be another problem?
I'm so confused!! Any advice would be of great help. Thanks in advance!!! (*I also posted this thread on the ARIZONA board*)

There is no isseu with endorsing your license to either state, but AZ does have wait lists as well. They just use a different process in some of their programs, but there are wait lists. Don't think that you will get in any quicker there.
