Hello all!
I graduate this December and am finally in the process of applying to take the NCLEX. From my understanding, receiving your ATT can vary between days to weeks or to even months! I'm wondering from those who applied to the CA BRN, what is the fastest way? I know the BRN now offers an online application but from reading from other people's experiences it may take longer? I know this all varies, but I'd like to hear some of your guys' experience! Thanks in advance! :)

There is no "fastest way". You apply with BRN (easiest way is online), then register for pearson Vue. BRN goes in order of your pay date. For instance, I paid for BRN and Pearson 8/29. It took about 8 weeks for me to get an ATT some of my cohort got it in 12 weeks. There are issues there where they did not receive transcripts or paperwork from the nursing school so I would definitely call of by 8ish weeks you haven't heard anything. They cannot expedite the process and calling and asking doesn't help either. Be patient and study and be prepared to take it. So far no dates in December and January is filling up from what I'm told

Really, the only thing you can do to expedite the process (if at all) is to apply now, before graduation, and ensure that transcripts are sent once your degree posts. Believe me, EVERYONE is trying to move their app through as fast as possible. If there was an actual expedited process, everyone would be doing it.
If it helps, I graduated in May, and my ATT came about 5 weeks later. I took the exam 5 days after that. I have no idea about applying online, as they started doing that just after I applied.
