Atlanta Summer 2023 Residency-May Grads!

Hello All!

Has anyone else who graduates in May 2023 started applying to Summer new grad residencies in ATL?

So far I’ve seen Piedmont, Children’s, and Emory apps being open. Still waiting on Grady, Northside, and Wellstar.

There are also quite a few open houses that may be helpful to attend. Especially if they will be hiring on the spot.

I saw this link on their website. It is on Wednesday, the 15th. Not sure if this is the same thing you're referring to! 

The recruiter emailed me and stated that event is not for new grad RNs.

Grady just emailed me about the new grad hiring event March 14th. I only see acute care. What about the NICU?

Hi I just emailed to ask if those were the only units we are allowed to interview with! got the same email and nothing about emergency department

And I am out of state. I wonder if they'll have something for us. Since it's so last minute.

Just scheduled my interview. They have acute care, critical care, women's health, and ED/Trauma.

Have you emailed the recruiter about this at all? I am out of state also, and whenever I email the recruiter about a virtual interview, she never replies. But will reply to other emails I send.

Anytime I mention it it's basically skipped over ?. So I'll just make it. Glad I have enough time to do so.

How was the Grady hiring event?

Did anyone accept a position with Grady, Piedmont, Emory or CHOA yet?

The Grady event went great. I accepted a position in the Neonatal ICU ?

I had offers at Grady and CHOA. I chose Grady.

I accepted a position at Piedmont Rockdale
