Atlanta Summer 2023 Residency-May Grads!

Published

Hello All!

Has anyone else who graduates in May 2023 started applying to Summer new grad residencies in ATL?

So far I’ve seen Piedmont, Children’s, and Emory apps being open. Still waiting on Grady, Northside, and Wellstar.

There are also quite a few open houses that may be helpful to attend. Especially if they will be hiring on the spot.

I will be. not sure how it works since I made the move before the official offer letters came out.

I will be also. However, I haven't heard anything back from onboarding. I should really check on the relocation process.

I haven't heard from onboarding directly. But I did get an email scheduling my employee health screening as well as needing to sign a document for relocation

Did you do anything directly to get the relocation assistance? If I remember, they only asked me on question about it during my onboarding process. Also, your email about employee health screening, where did it come from ? I haven't heard zip LOL

I emailed HR to see if I qualified then last week, I received an email asking for another signature involving relocation. As far as employee health screening, it came from one of the RN Residency rep, who had a link for us to sign up.

Certiphi, the background check company also emailed last week requesting forms.

I would for sure reach out because I will say I've gotten a couple of emails this past week regarding next steps.

Okay perfect! Would you mind passing along the Grady HR email, if it doesn't have identifying info (first and last name).

I figured it out. They just transfered 5K to my bank account. It was very simple.

Thank you! I talked to the recruiter and she told me they will contact me within two weeks of work. Is that how it worked for you? I was really hoping to get it earlier than that so I could start preparing to move earlier tbh. But thank goodness it came through for you!

I got the recruiters info for the reimbursement company on a Monday. We connected and I gave her my bank info. I was paid by that Wednesday.
