Hello,
there have been other topics on this however mine is slightly different. I have the predictor coming and unfortunately for me my school doesn’t use ati to teach from but just uses the predictor. How can I prepare for ati predictor? is there a topic list somewhere I can study?

What part or parts of ati do you have access to? Any? All of the books are available to download through your login. Have you checked for those? Next - I would go to Cathy Parks on You Tube (LevelUp RN). She previously taught straight from the ATI books but has had to modify her teachings. She would be your 2nd best bet (or in addition to actually) getting your hands on ATI books.
I have access to all of ati and have all the books. I have approximately 6 weeks to study for the predictor!!! While most people in my class are panicking about the amount of time and not using ati but now being required to take predictor I’m just trying to figure out best way to study or how to study for it.
I will check her out on youtube
If you have access to all of ATI - there should be a boatload of tests (Practice A and Practice B) that you can take. In addition, there should be questions that you can answer for each section (under the Learning System RN tab). When you take the Practice tests it shows you which questions you got wrong and points you to the section of the book to study. I would start with the practice tests, and then move on to all the other questions. I do at least 50 questions a day and I’m just 3rd semester. I’m hoping that I will have answered all the questions by the time its time for me to take it.

I took the 2016 version of the Comprehensive Predictor in October and passed with a 98% probability of passing NCLEX! To study for this exam I immersed myself in ATI questions. There's is a question bank in ATI under Learning Systems 3.0 called adaptive quizzes. I did 50-75 questions every day and wrote down rationales for all the topics I missed or guessed on. The pink comprehensive book is also a great way to review your knowledge but just know that if you do not know a concept or remember it I would look at the other ATI books as those will give you more details. The pink book is only for review. Definitely study lab values because labs will always be on the test. I had a good amount of Med-Surg and Maternal questions on my exam. Review your weaknesses because chances are you will get questions on topics you are not strong on. There are a lot of questions that are repeated but asked in a different way so be mindful of that and read questions carefully. For the Comprehensive Practice A I scored 69.3% and later took practice B and got 75% and for the VATI Comprehensive Practice Predictor got 78%. And finally, for the actual ATI Comprehensive Predictor, I made a 78% ?
Remember you know more than you think you know! Practice every day and you will do great!

Didn't study whatsoever and I got like a 74% on the ATI predicator which translated to like a 93%-95% chance of passing the NCLEX. I took the NCLEX 2 months after nursing school and I didn't study at all. However, I passed NCLEX in 75 questions in my first try.
So that test is a pretty good indicator tbh. But how do you study for it? You use everything you learned in nursing school obviously lol. It's not really a "test" you can study for like an OB Exam. This is 2 years of cumulative information. If you don't know it now, you won't know it soon.
Just do practice problems, Saunders has a great book. So does UWORLD. But yeah. If your school is a great school, they should have prepared you well enough to where you don't need to "study"

I took the predictor. My nursing program LOVED using ATI. I suggest investing in this:

Besides the books, those practice tests helped. They were included in pricing in my LPN program but i found them helpful before the proctored test. Some questions on the practice was on the proctored one, it definitely helps you practice & get a feel for how the questions will be like on the proctored test.

I got the CPRNE prep guide 4th edition (2011) but I don't see any answer and rationale. Does anyone have the answer by any chance? I'd like to know what are the correct answers.
Appreciate it if any of you have it and if you could send it to my e-mail [email protected]
Thanks so much
