Just curious if anyone knows what the percentage is to get a level 2 for the mom-baby ATI. I just did some of the practice tests and I got a 75 and a 68. I think the level 2 cut off was 62% which I thought was really low. I was wondering (and hoping) if it was similar for mom-baby since I need to level 2 to pass the class.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

When I took the Maternal Newborn ATI on 06/30/2010, the National Mean was 71.8%. I think if you are at or slightly above the national mean, you get the level 2.

We also needed a 72. I believe it is your instructor/program who sets the different levels, not the ATI company, so it may be higher or lower for you.

I don't understand these tests... like why are we taking them? In our school they don't count for anything. I scored a Level 3 on Mother/Baby and Level 2 on Peds... my Mother/baby score was higher so is the Level 3 better than Level 2? Don't get it.

Level 1 is the best you can get on the ATI exams. If you go onto the ATI website and logon you can look at a results page of tests that you have taken. It will have an explanation page that will explain what the different levels mean.

no...level 3 is actually the highest. at my school we have to score a level 3 to get advanced placement, and we occasionally get bonus points for them! i always do a lot better on the real tests than on the practice tests, so maybe you will, too! :)
i'm not sure what score you need for each level, though! good luck on your test!

My instructor told us that if you get a level 2 or higher on all of the exams ATI all but guarantees that you will pass NCLEX on the first try. I would think that ATI would have their own pre-set percentages for levels then, but who knows. If you look on their website though, I've heard from a friend that it does state that their Nclex pass rate for those who achieved those levels is 99% or something...
