Here is what my experience has been with ATI over the last semester. I absolutely LOVE the online tutorials, and the practice exams and all of the content that they provide at ATI testing. With that said, I really think they did not do a very good job on the textbooks. They lack some key features, such as an index, glossary and any kind of organization by topic. We use ATI, and in our program, during the last week of school we get a week long NCLEX prep with ATI. I think that it helps with critical thinking, and I also like that it is easy to navigate and use the online resources.

I also wanted to mention the online tutorials which are excellent. My fav tutorial of all time was the 7 nursing priorities with ABC, maslows, adpie, nursing priorities, etc.
My school uses ATI. I love the videos, practice tests, and rationales. The only thing I don't like is the lack of an index and glossary, like others have said.
We have taken end of semester exams now for Pediatrics, Maternal Newborn, Mental Health, and Fundamentals. When I first started doing the practice tests I did horrible. But then I went through all their videos about how to approach each question with prioritizing instead of using disease process knowledge, I drastically improved my scores.
Now I love ATI and can't believe how much my critical thinking has improved while using their system. It's awesome!

Okay so my school went from HESSI to ATI and that is the best thing that they have ever done. ATI has so many materials and tutorials to study from AND, my critical thinking skills has improved big time. Does anyone else's school/institution use ati? If so how do you like it?
