Hi Everyone,
Can someone please give me advice on how to pass the ATI exam on fundamentals. My school also has a rule, that if we fail, we also fail the course .
Right now I'm studying from the ATI app (fundamental section only) and reviewing questions from the back of my ATI fundamental book for each chapter. Is this enough? should I be doing something else different? I'm freaking out! Please help me y'all!!!
There is an ati app in the play store as well.
Honestly read your book word for word. I had to remediate for fundamentals and every question I got wrong was in the book word for word. I have taken 4 ati tests now and the last 3 I have received level 3s. If you know your book you will do well. Relax and Good luck!
But how do you know what chapters to cover? The only way I've been able to find specific chapters to study is from the focused review sections. Is this what you did?
Yes the focused reviews helped. I did the practice assessments and then was able to narrow down what I needed to study based on the assessments.
ATI test questions comes directly from the ATI text. The best way to pass is read the book... do the practice tests too! But literally I'd fine that some questions came word for word from the text. I graduated in Dec. and got a level 3 the first time in every class except pharmacology by using this method!
Practice practice practice!!! Use the ATI website for tutorials and assessments. I've taken 7 ATI tests (All passing) and honestly, I feel that there really isn't a way to study for it.... These tests are there to make sure you know what you need to know at this point in your nursing education.
In addition, check out the tutorial Nurse Logic. It helps break down how questions are worded and the different priority frameworks that are used.
Yea...so far I'm finding this to be true. All week long I've been studying tutorials and assessments on ATI. I've even gone through all the questions at the end of chapters I feel that I could use more time on. I hope I pass!! I'll keep everyone posted and thanks so much guys for all your advice!!

Our test is in about three weeks! I've been studying like crazy by reading the book, answering questions in the back of the ATI chapters, and doing practice ATI exams online through their website.
