Athena Lpn Program Toledo Ohio

U.S.A. Ohio

Is there anyone out there that will be starting Athena's LPN program this Fall? Hoping to meet my future classmates. Nervous and excited to begin my Nursing journey!

Specializes in Postpartum, Mother/Baby, Comm. Health, Geriatric.

A friend of mine is currently attending. She loves the program. I was even going to start there if I didn't get accepted into a program here (Detroit-I am starting Sept. 3rd at Davenport in Warren). She commutes from Detroit and she started in January, so she will be there when you start this fall.

Where did you hear that?

She works weekends. It's all about what you can do as far as time management. I have not checked anything as far as their status since last year. I would definately check into that before attending and spending your money.

A girl went there and was posting it in the fall but I don't know how true it was. She graduated from there though.

Have you checked on it BernardNV?

They are on "provisional" status, which is due to their NCLEX pass rate being lower than standard. In order to correct this, they have instituted many solutions, including the ATI nursing education program which is now part of their curriculum. They told me they have seen a substantial increase in scores since integrating ATI into the curriculum, and expect to be off of "provisional" status as early as August.

That's great. Best Wishes! My friend is enjoying her nursing experience, besides the drive.
