Hey everyone! I thought this would be a great place to talk about Applications, TEAS Questions/Scores, Titers, and just getting to know each other!! Which semester are you applying for? Questions? It'll be fun! :) Introduce yourself!!!

I am applying for the fall term downtown. I'm nervous but totally excited! :)

This is great!! I couldn't be more excited right now. It looks like we were all accepted so far! Woohoo! Other cohorts have made facebook pages. Would you all be interested if I made one?

K_karenh, have you heard anything yet?

I'd be happy to create one for Summer if no one else has already :) (Anything to procrastinate on studying for my bio 202 exam that's in an hour) :)

I think in past they've always done separate groups for each cohort since they're on different schedules, at least for the summer versus the fall programs.

Hey don't give up! I heard there are a lot of direct admits who did not take the TEAS that may have a strong chance of losing their status.

I heard the same thing, k_karenh. I've also heard that a large number of students who are listed as alternates actually do get accepted. People lose their spot (drug test, citizenship, background check, choose another nursing program, etc.). Don't lose hope!! :)

K_karenh: Definitely do not give up. Many people probably applied to multiple programs, and might pick others over ASU! I was on the alternate list last semester, and I believe I was pretty low on the list which is why I didn't make it, but I heard that many alternates were pulled in from the list! The time with the most chance is when transcripts are due (from people not passing their last classes) and right after they send out emails. And, if you don't make it at all, there is always next semester, and going through the process a second time is a lot less stressful bc you have the gist of how everything works down!
