Hey everyone! I thought this would be a great place to talk about Applications, TEAS Questions/Scores, Titers, and just getting to know each other!! Which semester are you applying for? Questions? It'll be fun! :) Introduce yourself!!!

I am applying for the fall term downtown. I'm nervous but totally excited! :)

I got mine around 11:30 this morning and my last name starts with a 'W', so I don't think it is going in alphabetical order by last name. It might be going by when you handed in your application?

I'm going to throw a wrench in here. I also have a last name starting with H and received mine around 2:15 as well....

does anyone know if the over 300 applicants include both direct admit and competitive applicants? or are there over 300 hundred competitive and that number doesn't include direct?

My advisor just mentioned that there were over 300 applicants this cycle, but didn't specify any further. I would assume though that it was all encompassing, and not just competitive applicants.:)

I believe it includes direct and competitive applicants. Because at my information session they said last year there were 200 including everyone!

I'm running out of patience! I can't wait for acceptance emails to go out!

Okay, so I know I shouldn't say this and get everyone's hopes up, but I just have to! Although it sounds way too early to get an acceptance email, she sounded pretty sure she was correct. So, my pathophysiology classmate mentioned that her advisor told her that acceptance emails could be sent out as early as two days after the deadline to turn in the confirmation emails. So Tuesday at the earliest? She had said anything from 2 to 10 days. However, my advisor said within a week (which would mean next Friday), so I guess we'll see!

I think it depends on how many changes have to be made to everyone's coursework. But after we turn it all in it should be rather simple, just make corrections and list everyone by advancement score and start assigning apots! I don't think we'll get one as early as Monday or Tuesday but we might get lucky and get one by Wednesday or Thursday, if not I'm sure it will be Friday! Just a small wait to go everyone

If we're accepted, does anyone know when they'll have the advancement information sessions? I don't know if they have one for both fall and summer or are each held individually.

I believe last years they held during the week of finals (Thursday or Friday night) and they had both groups together. Not sure if this year it will change but I'm sure that they must try and keep that the same every year
