ASU ABSN 2023

Published

Hi all,

Anyone out there applying to ASU's ABSN program for this Spring?

Looks like books this semester are $1000 if you want the ebooks and physical books and the ATI testing is $550! All of this on top of our $5000 program fee, this is insane. Also how is everyone paying for the Summer semester? The Spring semester maxes out federal aid and unfortunately I’m not eligible for private loans. I applied for the VA scholarship but I don’t think I’ll get it.

Yea this was a thing for me too and ultimately the reason I jumped ship to TESU for half the price, less prereq, and same time frame.

so I took all the classes at community college (hence the perfect GPA).

Have you ever considered that your professors were focused on YOU the learner, versus grant procurement, tenure issues, university politics? You had excellent teachers who directed all their efforts to YOU the student.

yeah no, sorry.  I have no doubt that in some cases, had I struggled, my professors would have cared (in others not a bit).   But the classes were just flat out easy and I ended almost every class with OVER 100% average.

Unfortunately for those of us in Arizona there is no other choice as quick.

You certainly were a great student (OVER 100% average).  Someone needs to look at the grading at your Community College! . "EVERY ONE gets an A!  ala Oprah!"

Hi everyone I'm interested in applying to ASU ABSN for 2024, I know tuition will be different year to year but I wanted to ask what other expenses did you incur while in the program? Like books, materials, etc

trying to formulate a rough estimate of costs

thanks!
