I think we are in good shape, mine is 1.94.

Thats an incredible score! You're definitely getting accepted. May I ask if you're in-state or out-of-state? I'm coming from California as a second-degree seeking student.

Did you submit your advancement form yet? I have an appointment on Wednesday to go over my CIW maroon form and see if my transcripts were received.

I'm in state.  This is also my 2nd bachelors so I took all the classes at community college (hence the perfect GPA).  I already submitted my application ( I met with an advisor in early August).  You can see if your transcripts were received by checking DARS  (on your my.asu page click on your major and the degree audit (DARS) should pop up below it).  ASU was really fast at integrating my transcripts, they had it all posted within 2 days of receipt.

Unfortunately, after meeting with an advisor it turns out that one to two of my completed courses might not transfer. I'm still going to submit mine because of all of the money I spent sending my transcripts over and what not, but it is upsetting. This knocks me down to a 1.65.

I applied the last two cycles and was accepted but I couldn't afford the program ($11,000+ a semester!?). I finally decided I will take out a private loan if I get in this time. I'm worried because my select GPA went down. The Chemistry course I got an A in expired so I had to replace it with my A&P II which I got a B in. My final advancement score is a 1.76. I looked at last year's scores and it seems they accept all post-bacc students before considering the accelerated ones even if the scores are lower. So there's hope!

I'm sorry that you will have to take loans,  I am going to try to avoid it but I doubt that I will manage. What was it like applying in  past years?  Did you get to the acceptance and health forms stage?

It was the same process as this year. I did get to the acceptance and health forms but then gave up my seat. I had a higher advancement score last year 1.8 something, but looking at the current stats I am not too worried.

Hi all! I just submitted my advancement application. My final advancement score was a 1.86. Was anyone else anxious while filling out the application? I was terrified of making a mistake, given that only one submission is allowed haha. Also, how is everyone planning on covering program costs? Any scholarships available?

Best of luck to everyone!

I was terrified as well. I freaked out when I did'nt get an email confirming it and had to email an advisor...I felt really bad.

As far as I can tell there are no meaningful scholarships (a few for under 1000 but nothing that really adds up).  I personally have saved, its just going to depend on how cheaply I can live.  I may have to take out loans in the last term but I hope not.  How are you doing on your health requirements?  I still need to do BLS and get this years flu shot....and I am grumpy about it.

I got my fingerprint card in the mail last week, so super happy about that! As of now, I just need my BLS certification and flu shot. I'm planning on doing both later this month. Originally, I wanted to wait until after we received our advancement status emails but I'd rather not risk it!
