Associate or Bachelors?

If the option is available and it takes you roughly the same time, go with the BSN. If you need to save money, want to get into the field faster (if it is a faster route) then go with the ADN.

I got my BS in something other than nursing and then decided to go into nursing. I am now in a very good ADN program. I also plan to most likely go RN->BSN->MSN OR RN->MSN

It just depends on your final goals, and what options you want available to you as a result of your degree.

I would go for the BSN. Simply to have more options.

If you do the ASN, it would be cheaper and you would become an RN faster (thus allowing you to work as an RN faster).

Having a BSN makes sense as it gives you more options...you could go get your masters later and there is an hourly differential (although in many places it may be very very small).

My reccomendation? Go to a community college first, start working, and then bridge from RN-BSN or RN-MSN depending on ur interest

BSN especially if money is not a problem. Seriously, this is the best approach.
