what to assign to other RN type questions, also priority

remember having a few of these on NCLEX.

Question would read a RN from [peds,ICU,maternity etc] has come to your floor when making assignments what patient should you assign to that nurse? Then list 4 patients...

Any tips? Or is it always just give the stable patient with a expected outcome?

Anyone have some examples?

Also the "which client should you asses/see/visit first" I.E priority, tips?

I had some of these questions today. The rationale I got was, if the RN is pulled to L&D from ER, then don't give them any patients that require specializing in L&D. For example, the ER nurse couldn't care for a fresh delivery with a hx of eclampsia because of the further risk of seizures. I hope that makes sense.
