Hi, I am trying to get my packet together and I have a few questions.
Regarding the resume, do I add all the jobs I have ever had or do I only put my nursing job in there? (I became a nurse at 33, so I had many jobs before that, and only one nursing job since graduation).
For the letter of motivation and intent. Is this suppose to be addressed to someone or do I just title the page, write a few paragraphs and then sign it?
Thanks for your help.

I would ask your recruiter for examples - and then send him/her an initial draft so they can provide feedback based on their recommendation to make you competitive.... that being said the boards generally accept those who qualify.
The statement is addressed to a recruiting cmd hq and your recruiter can give you the correct format for that as well as the signature block.

Thanks-I already have that angle covered. My recruiter is on leave for a bit so I thought I would see if I could get any help on here. I just wanted to get this done by the time he gets back so I can turn it all in.

Hi MJ,
I'm going through this for the second time in a year (reserve, now active accession), so I can add alittle here.........
Even if you have your LOI and resume' completed, your recruiter will edit it and probably ask for revisions.
Your LOI should explain why you are choosing a military career and what you have to offer the military.....why you are qualified to be a part of the ANC. (I usually highlight my degrees, major scholastic achievements, certifications, volunteer work). I also explain my plans for the future, i.e. I am waiting to start the Army CRNA programs, etc.
They have a "format" for your resume and LOI.....
Good luck,
c.
