Hello, I am applying to the Arkansas State University 2021 CRNA program. I noticed there hasn't been a thread started for this cohort yet. Anyone else applying??!

I read earlier today that the deadline for AState was pushed back to September 1. I now have so many more curiosities and questions!

@ICURN0731 Really? I see it now on their website. Oh man, did they not have enough qualified candidates to apply by the initial deadline? I also have so many questions. Let the anxious waiting continue... ?

So update... haha! I just read on their website that their wording has changed yet again. It now states “Due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the application deadline has been extended through September.” There is no longer a specific date for application. Also, under the description of the program, it states “Pending approval by the COA, the program plans to enroll its first doctoral cohort of students in 2021.” It sounds like they may have plans to move back the start date after January. Now I have even more questions and I see more waiting in our close future.

Has anyone heard about the CRNA stipend program for the Army Reserves? You will receive a monthly stipend while attending CRNA school of over $2300 a month and you will be an officer in the reserves after graduating?

I also got an email to check with the registrar that they have all my requirements on file. But I haven’t heard anything else. Are you also applying? I did see where they’re still taking apps through the end of September, so I’m guessing we won’t hear anything until the beginning of October ?

I haven’t been called for an interview. Congrats to you all that got one. Crossing my fingers a call is coming. Are they on zoom and when?
