Aria School of Nursing 16'

Published

Hi everyone! I just started the process for January 2016 admissions! Any advice for me? I ordered the TEAS V Study guide and I'm also still taking classes at CCP so I hope that helps me score high. I'm so excited already for next year!

That's good so are up going to take Chem in fall? I'm just getting so darn anxious!!!

I am... I think it will be ok. Prep was good and I was nervous about that because I have never taken a chemistry class before. Personally for me, I think the prep was good and it will be the same thing for this semester so hopefully not that chaotic lol

Lowiegirl- good luck to you!!! I hear GM is a great school! One of the nurses who was getting her BSN there was a tutor at Manor where I go. Manor is really big in making sure their allied health people know all human bones inside and out. She was one of the best people to help us out with that!

I was accepted. But I think I am going to stick with Gwynedd Mercy University instead of Aria.

Congratulations! Are you excited?? When do you start? ABSN or traditional BSN? Sorry for all of the questions, it's just great having other people going through this process as well :D.

I'm also sending good vibes your way!! Best Wishes with A&P I finals (and your CNA course too!)

Thanks! 11 more days and I can get these transcripts off and hopefully an acceptance letter haha! Cna course is over now! Just waiting to take boards and Aria will be hiring me for pool position!

Wowzers! Finished with my last final yesterday (had one on Thursday too). Now I'm enjoying a 4 day break before fall semester starts. Good luck everyone! :)

So update...sent my transcript to Marie and she said I have to turn in my fall midterm ap2 and chem intro and I'll be discussed in that next acceptance determination. I'm really going crazy here.....

Hello Fay,

I have been following this post for the past few months. I also contacted Marie and I believe we may be prepared the enter the same semester. I explained to her I have a lot of my other classes completed, and I have taken A&P 1&2 in a medical assistant program but it is not considered a college credit. I will be finished a&P 1&2 by May but she told me as long as I did good on my teas I could still try to being next Fall. Is that the class you would be starting?

Hey! No, I applied for this January. I'm currently finishing ap2 and Chem 110 right now. She just wants to see my midterm grade at the end of October to get a decision! I have two test in each class that will count as my midterm. I'm praying I do well! I should find out in November if I was accepted for Januaray 2016. Are you taking classes right now?! I'm soooo nervous. I took my teas without ever taking a science course and scored a 63. That was enough to get me by and she said I didn't have to take it again!

Hey Fayfay1017:

Mind if I ask how everything went with your CNA state test? What were your skills, and did it take long to receive your results? My test is scheduled for next month... I'm pretty excited to actually be out in the healthcare field (well, I need to pass first :D) !

Oh thats awesome! I am taking class right now, I am at Bucks County and I can't take Chem until Ive completed a math which is what I'm finishing this semester & Im taking Chem + AP1 in the spring. and then hopefully AP2 in the summer. its so stressful trying to figure it all out and still work when Bucks doesn't have the most accommodating time schedule.
