Aria Health School of Nursing - Jan 11'

Published

Just wanted to see who else was currently applying for the January 11' start date. My application is in RAP review as of today. I went in with like a 3.2GPA and did very well on my TEAS. I scored an 87% on it which put me in the 94th percentile nationwide. When I went on the interview I was told the TEAS score was very good and my GPA was good as well. I'm kind of bugging out. I want this so bad because I don't want to wait a whole year to re-apply for the fall classes. Finger's crossed. Anyone else out there applying now as well?

I HAVE AFTERNOON. did you ask? they should let u switch

Does anyone have a morning Nursing 110? I have the afternoon and i'm hoping i can switch with someone so I can keep my part time job.

I would def tell them that you NEED to switch, tell them that it is for $$$$$ financial reasons and you NEED to keep your job.....Do you have a kid or kids??? throw them in as a factor as well...Good luck

I think your grant money will be lower this year because of starting in January CCP already took 1/2 your yearly money and since we have trimesters that messed it up.....If my memory (which is something like a steel trap) is serving me correctly. I think I asked the same thing!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this website, but I have found it to be very helpful. I am looking to apply to the Aria School of Nursing because the college I currently attend has, so many applicants and alot of competition. THose of you that were accepted, I need to know what was your TEAS score and GPA to be considered for the program? Thanks in advance

Wow:uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3: so like Aria is your fall back school.....Thanks.....Um yeah we have alot of competition too.... When I started in Jan of 2010 I was one of 40 accepted out of about 400 applicants that had all the requirements needed and completed. You know some people apply without the pre-req's so they are straight denied... Anyway....my GPA was a 3.75 and my TEAS scores were 97......and I was a tier 2.....So I would not knock the school...We have the best Nclex pass rate in the city other than Drexel, and the most clinical time of anyone.....We might not be in the best neighborhood, but we should not be looked at because you think you will have trouble getting in somewhere else, look at us because we are the best! :yeah:

hello guys. did you get your books yet? I got most of them except the ANA'S Foundation of Nursing 2010 package which was part of the required reading. I had to call Rittenhouse to make sure there werent any problems. Welp, turns out they are on back order for another ten days and then they will ship them.

guess i cant do the required reading :(

whered everybody go? hows everything going for everyone?

Hey bumblebee - I feel like im off to a good start in school. Im in the morning nursing class. How did your test go? How do you feel about it so far?

I got a B on the test, was hoping for a little higher but thats ok. I like it so far, its getting better. Hmmm I was just wondering if we are supposed bring out stethoscopes to lab tommorow

I meant our* stethoscopes

oops nevermind, the vital signs lab is next week

Hey ladies and gents. I was hoping someone could help with some info. I was accepted to both Aria and CCP for the upcoming fall semester. I will graduate with my associated from ccp in elementary ed, and I have taken all of my nursing prereqs. I was wondering how the transfer situation works for aria? If they accept my transfer classes, will I still have to graduate with my class, or can my graduation rate be moved up? I am really stuck because I don't know which school would be better for my situation. I am older, and I have kids. I really like Aria's program, but I am totally unsure about their transfer program. Could someone help me with this??? Thanks guys!! :D

You have to be specific...what classes do you have and i can give you an idea what you have left to take.
