Well everywhere but it was not because of nursing school. I worked as a CNA while I was in school and got to go a lot of things there that really helped me when I graduated.

Because most of my school clinicals were on a med-surg floor, I think school best prepared me for med-surg.
The transition to the ER included a lot of things we never talked about in school . You would think that we would spend more time talking about emergency care than CABGs and IABPs.

i think its medical-surgical...
coz school education mainly deals wid dis..
did school prepare you to be a nurse with regards to how the day goes (I'm not speaking about clinical tasks but more about the flow of the day) ?

Med-Surg; and that made it easy to work a skilled nursing home wing. I had seen enough to recognize a problem early on.
