Hi all, I haven't posted in awhile, been busy as all of you are; with graduation. and nclex...
Anyway, my question is; are you telling anyone of your test date? Maybe its just me, but I don't want the added pressure of loved ones and friends, asking me how I did, what do you think, or worst of all having to tell them all I failed if God forbid I do (praying I don't). I have confided in one close friend, actually she will be taking it with me the same day. I really would like to tell my loving Hubby, this way he can understand why I'm acting so insane; morever, pick me up when I collapse after the test. So what are you all doing or have done. Thanks

The only people who knew ahead of time were my husband and one friend. I told my mom after I took the test and told one co-worker because he asked me outright and I just couldn't lie... I understand your decision to limit the information and don't blame you a bit.

I do not plan to tell anyone, including my husband or daughter, when I am scheduled to take the test.....unless it poses a scheduling conflict w/my daughter(she's only 9 and will be on summer vacation when I finally test). Like others have said, I don't want the added pressure on me until after the test is over. My manager & educator(who schedules my orientation) have been hounding me since the end of April as to when I'm taking Boards. I hadn't even applied with the State yet!! So no pressure is better than a little pressure, in my opinion!!

I was like all of you at first. I tried so hard not to tell anyone but then I told my husband of course and then I told mymom cause she was watching the kids for it. then somehow it slipped out here and there and I was careful who I told, told a few people I knew for a fact wouldpray for me. worried? I was petrified I would have to tell them all I failed again! man I was so worried but it all worked out andit is so good to be able to tell eveyone I passed. hang tight and dont worry, I will say this I thought the test was over the exact same stuff I got on the saunders CD maybe just a little differently worded!
Good luck to you all!!!!!!!

I only told mom husband, because he had to take off work and watch the boys. My mom is asking me daily when I plan on taking it. I told her "I am not telling anyone, but know its soon, because I had to go to the doctor and get Xanax (lol), and my mom works at the Pharm I use!"
