Question: I have completed my ADN program and have taken nclex 3 times and my state says that I must take a remedial course in order to retake nclex. Are there any states that do not have a cap on how many times you can take it? If so, then where?

In Texas you can take it up to 8 times a year (45 day waiting period between each exam). I believe that most all states have a rule that if its been 2 years since you graduated, you must take a refresher.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but if you've failed the nclex three times, maybe you actually need a remediation course? Rather than trying to go around the states policy and take it somewhere else

you can take as much as you want for state of New York. and then you can get your home state license through endorsement. good luck!
